Athy Distrubution Road
The Athy Distributor Road is a 3.4 km semi-urban route built by BAM. It officially opened to traffic in October 2023, ahead of schedule. This major infrastructure project was designed to divert traffic and alleviate heavy congestion in the historic town centre of Athy on behalf of Kildare County Council. B&N carried out the site clearance removal of vegetation, clearing wooded areas and shaping ground for works to commence on two bridges one over the Barrow river and the other over the athy Irish rail line. B&N carried out muck shifting service , Hire services throughout bridge development, dust suppression and lifting of precast concrete wall pannelling and sound hoarding for the site border , surface preparation of footpaths and finishing works on behalf of Bam Civil long standing Trusted partners of B&N Civil.

The Athy Distributor Road is a 3.4km single-carriageway road that serves as a southern bypass of Athy town centre in County Kildare. Officially opened on 31 October 2023 by then-Taoiseach Leo Varadkar, the infrastructure project was constructed by BAM Civil Ltd. on behalf of Kildare County Council to alleviate traffic congestion, improve public transport, and provide dedicated pedestrian and cycling infrastructure
Length & Route: The 3.4km stretch extends between the townlands of Bennetsbridge and Gallowshill, largely following the corridor of the disused Athy-Wolfhill railway line. Barrow River Crossings: The road includes a brand new 80m single-span steel composite bridge across the River Barrow, alongside a refurbished, repurposed 1918 railway bridge that now serves as a dedicated cycleway and footway. Active Travel Infrastructure: Incorporates 5.8km of combined walking and cycling paths linking major local residential estates (like Corran Ard, Branswood, and Dun Brinn) to Athy Railway Station and the Barrow Blueway. Junctions: The bypass integrates two new roundabouts at the N78 Kilkenny Road and the R418 Castledermot Road, along with signalised crossroads at Carlow Road (R417) and Fortbarrington Road.
Jamestown Bus Depot
The Jamestow Bus Depot was Commissioned by the National Transport Authority (NTA) and operated by Dublin Bus, the facility was developed to support the major roll-out of BusConnects Phase 7 network changes and the rapid electrification of the city’s bus fleet. Built by Wills Bros Ltd. on a former industrial site, the facility was engineered with a focus on future-proofed sustainability. B&N supplied machine hire services for extra machines to help the pressing demand for depot space and implementation of electrical charging stations in Harristown Depot another depot being upgraded as Jamestown was under construction on behalf of Wills Bros long standing TRUSTED partners of B&N Civil.

The Jamestown Bus Depot consists Parking Capacity: Features 178 dedicated bus parking bays.Site Size: Spans over a 25,000m² footprint utilizing highly permeable paving.Buildings: Includes a 22-unit modular administration block alongside a dedicated maintenance workshop featuring advanced service pits.Eco-Features: Outfitted with an automatic eco-bus wash that recycles its water supply, massive high-capacity fueling networks, and high-performing workplace air filtration systems. The depot’s delivery was structured across distinct temporary and permanent construction windows to align with the phased rollout of Dublin’s BusConnects Network Redesign: March 2024: Main civil engineering works commenced on-site under principal contractor Wills Bros Ltd.. October 2024: An interim, partial “temporary depot” phase was delivered by WSC Group and Wills Bros to allow the site to begin immediately functioning as an out-station for early route support. October 2025: The depot officially launched full public network operations ahead of BusConnects Phase 7. November 2025: Main structural handovers, internal fit-outs, and minor civil works wrapped up, marking the formal completion of the full facility contract.
N21 Adare Bypass
The Adare Bypass is being constructed along the N21 corridor as Phase 1A of the larger Foynes to Limerick Road Project. The critical infrastructure project is scheduled for completion by June 2027, specifically fast-tracked to open ahead of the Ryder Cup tournament at Adare Manor in September 2027. The Limerick City and County Council officially awarded the design and construction contract to a Sisk Sorensen Joint Venture. B&N supllied machine hire services for extra machines to help moving massive amount of materials and Gps trimming of fill area for the pressing deadline fixed by the Ryder Cup 2027 .

The project is being constructed by the Sisk Sorensen Joint Venture. Key developments as of mid-2026 include: Earthworks: Heavy excavation and ground shaping are nearly complete, primarily focusing around the new bridge structures. Pavement and Roads: Pavement laying has commenced across multiple sections. The Croagh Roundabout tying into the existing N21 is already open to traffic. Structures: Construction is underway on all major crossings, including a major three-span bridge over the River Maigue and road-over-rail bridges spanning the Foynes-Limerick railway line. Environmental Works: The installation of noise barriers, vehicle restraint systems, and landscape planting is actively progressing along the route. The N21 Adare Bypass is a 7 km motorway project in County Limerick designed to eliminate severe gridlock in the heritage village of Adare. The project is on track to be fully operational by June 2027, ahead of the Ryder Cup at Adare Manor.
Glenamuck District Road Scheme (GDRS)
(GDRS), a massive infrastructure overhaul in South Dublin spanning the Carrickmines, Stepaside, Kilternan, and Ballycorus areas. [1]Commissioned by Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council, BAM Civil Ltd. was appointed as the main contractor in March 2024. The overall project is in its final finishing stages, with a targeted final completion date of June. B&N carried out stripping of site, muck shifting service, Gps cut and fill areas and finish works on Carrickmines to Stepaside Road , Hire services throughout the road and footpath development , machine hire for pouring of footpaths and finishing works on behalf of Bam Civil long standing Trusted partners of B&N Civil.

The scheme encompasses over 3.3km of new roadways and 6km of high-quality pedestrian and cycling tracks designed to unlock the area for major local housing developments: Glenamuck District Distributor Road (GDDR): A new 1.55km road running from the Enniskerry Road (near the De La Salle Palmerston RFC) to the Glenamuck Road South Roundabout near Carrickmines Retail Park. The GDDR portion officially opened to traffic on 19 June 2025. Glenamuck Link Distributor Road (GLDR): A new 1.8km link road connecting the GDDR back into the Enniskerry Road, bypassing the traditional bottlenecks at the Kilternan/Golden Ball junction. Enniskerry Road & Glenamuck Road Upgrades: Severe widening and realignment works, including the addition of continuous segregated cycle lanes and standard footpaths between the Golden Ball pub and the Brambledown housing estate. As the project nears its June 2026 final deadline, several major traffic switches and tie-ins are actively being executed.
